We all know that our body suffers from many thing in day to day life like tension, depression, stress and all and this kind of things badly effect our health. For all these reasons we suffer from high B.P, blood sugar, thyroid and diseases like these; but there is a way to get rid of this kind of diseases but what is this way? Meditation is the only way by which we can avoid these diseases to some extent.
A mere 10-15 minutes a day can make a difference in how you handle the demands of everyday living as meditation helps us to avoid these diseases and keeps our body in perfect condition. Apart from this meditation helps us to fight against high B.P. Transcendental Meditation were found to lower blood pressure by 6mm (diastolic) and 3mm (systolic) after one year of continuous meditation. Meditation also outlived the national average for mortality by 23 percent. Meditation helps us to remain positive and increases Self-Acceptance and Self-Esteem. Meditation helps us to recover from stress and by doing that it helps our heart, that means we're not stressing; our heart isn't racing which is good. A 2-year study by Massachusetts General Hospital revealed that individuals who practiced meditation for at least 40 minutes a day had a cerebral cortex that was thicker than those who didn't.
Meditation also helps us to stay away from nicotine, drugs or alcohol as by doing meditation on regular basis we can improve our will power too. Meditation is also useful as it helps us to free our mind, enhances alertness and focus. So meditation helps us not only physically but mentally too, by meditation we can improve our daily life as well as social and professional lives. Meditation also helps us to take control over our anger and by meditating every day we can create new things as it clears our mind and we feel free. So doing meditation everyday can help us in numerous ways and people are now getting aware of this fact.
